Somewhere between a computational biologist, a bioinformatician, and a perpetual student.

I studied molecular biology but switched over to a completely computational PhD, so now I don't know what job title I deserve, but I am a scientist at the least (?). Now I am haunted by Markov Chains and GNNs instead of my cells dying over the weekend.

This is a webpage 6 years in the making, so congrats to me that I finally stopped procrastinating.

Helping out at mathematical-oncology.org, an (amazing) blog and newsletter you should follow.

Research

  • the confluence of evolution, cancer and computer science
  • always thinking of ways to make data understandable but aesthetically pleasing
  • tools rigorous enough to trust but simple enough that somebody actually uses them
